First Entry: Wicked

Hello to all that read this! I would like to welcome and thank you for coming to my journal. These journals will probably me ranting, but I hope at least one person finds it interesting.

Yesterday, I went and saw Wicked for the first time at the Keller Auditorium in Portland, Oregon, and oh my god was it amazing. It really brings a new perspective on the story of the Wizard of Oz. I recommend it to anyone that has the chance to see it. Sort of pertaining to the same subject, I am auditioning for my high school play tomorrow, and I'm very nervous. I do hope I get a part though. The play is a comedy called Leaving Iowa and is apparently about a family roadtrip. I'm also going to audition for Company (musical theater) and the fall musical. I really hope I get into both. Cross your fingers!
